“NOW Year’s” Resolutions – December Intention Inspiration!

I have big plans for up-notching my business in 2019. With my recent Master’s degree and new accreditations, my website, service offerings and profile all need tweaking. I set myself this great new-year’s resolution for January, a no-brainer. However, last month one of my clever professors gave an assignment requiring me to deliver a business plan, marketing strategy and tools I intend to use… by December 1st. Yikes! My initial plans were to prepare the assignment and consider it a kick-start to my daunting January task. Once I got into it, I was so in-touch with my intentions that I ended up rolling out an executive summary and business plan, up-dated website, updated social media and January Newsletter, complete with a photo-shoot! I’m ready to roll – and what an amazing feeling to end the year with! I feel like this is the satisfying culmination of 11 months past and a wonderful way to end 2018 and ease into 2019! How about instead of “New Year’s” resolutions, we aim for “NOW Year’s” resolutions to  boost any still pending intentions? Here’s a little inspiration for “Whealthy“ December Intentions:

Your December Intention Inspiration

  • I plan my breakfast to set me up for a balanced day of energy, satisfaction and nutrition, especially knowing that holiday lunches, cocktails and parties will occupy the month.
  • I get my 10,000 steps, whatever the weather, to help with my appetite, sleep, stress, energy, metabolism, brain functioning and performance.
  • I eat mindfully, being a “food-snob” for anything I take the time to savor and discover I don’t truly love or recognize is just a “memory” in my mouth.
  • I take time to breath – one to three deep breaths – before I choose to speak, eat or work in order to connect with myself to say, eat or do as I truly intend.
  • I record 5 things I’m grateful for now, since gratitude makes us happier and healthier and practicing helps create the habit of focusing on the positive in life.
  • I set my bedtime and organize my day around that time rather than finishing everything first and then “allowing” myself to go to bed to maximize absolutely every experience I have throughout the season.
  • I……what’s yours?

As 2018 winds down, we’re all in a race for the finish, anticipating deadlines, holidays and celebrations and glancing back at 11 months past. We tend to put off our intentions for January whereas I believe it is MORE empowering to do it NOW! Why not take stock now to end 2018 satisfied knowing you are already doing what you set your intentions on?
